We may attempt to connect homeowners with independent service professionals based on project type, location, availability and other information. We do not guarantee that a match will be available or that any introduction will result in an estimate, booking or completed project.
2. Independent professionals
Professionals introduced through GTA Home Pros are independent businesses, not employees, agents or subcontractors of GTA Home Pros. They determine their own pricing, availability, methods, warranties and contractual terms. Unless expressly stated in writing, GTA Home Pros does not perform, supervise or warrant their work.
3. Homeowner responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate project and contact information, reviewing estimates and written agreements, and independently confirming any professional’s identity, qualifications, insurance, licences, permits, references and suitability where relevant to the work.
4. Professional responsibilities
Professionals are responsible for maintaining all licences, insurance, registrations and qualifications applicable to their services; providing accurate information; protecting homeowner information; following applicable laws; and communicating honestly about pricing, scope and availability.
5. Estimates and agreements
Any quote, estimate, appointment, payment, warranty or service agreement is directly between the homeowner and the independent professional. GTA Home Pros is not a party to that agreement unless expressly confirmed in writing.
6. Acceptable use
You may not submit false, unlawful, abusive or misleading information; interfere with the website; attempt unauthorized access; use submitted contact information for unrelated marketing; or reproduce site content without permission.
7. Website information
We aim to keep information accurate, but website content may be incomplete or change without notice. Service descriptions are general and do not represent a guarantee that a particular service or professional is available in every location.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GTA Home Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of the website, an unavailable match, communication with an independent professional, or services provided by an independent professional.
